A Varia Mafia Story!!!!!!

`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`~`

I hit the shark standing next to me with my elbow, earning a "VOOIII!!! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" from him. I smirked as Xanxus paused to glare at me and the Shark.

"But... like I was saying, there is no better pair for this mission than you two, take Fran or Bel if you think you'll need assistance at all, but... DON'T... Kill eachother. I want you two to take this job seriously. Performing a seige on an enemy house is dangerous especially with just the two of you. Come back alive and successful, both of you, Trash, or not at all..." Xanxus finished. My boss and I met eyes for a briefe moment before I saluted quickly and walked out, grabbing Squalo's jacket sleeve and pulling him with me.

Half an Hour Later:

Smoke filled the room as Squalo and I leaped into the last room in the Denirta family house, the Boss' office where he and his 2nd in command and highest ranks were hiding/waiting for us. The grey smoke bomb confused our targets and they screamed as I assumed Squalo was first to attack and hit one of them. The mafia members began to run, dark shadowed figures though the smoke. I jumped back to the door and slammed it shut, apparently slamming the door on someone, because I heard a sickening crack, a choking noise followed by a "thud" that could have only been a dead body. I heard the others running away from me, and I rapidly sped up towards a running mafia member wearing a classic italiano hat. I swung and chopped off his head, jumping over his body before it fell, and stabbing my sword into the next target in front of him, pinning him to the floor. I swished my sword back and forth twice, cleaning the blood off of it, and looked around. I saw a long haired Squalo figure jump and skewer a person and flip him over his head, dropping him off to the side. The smoke had begun to become thin, and we could more clearly see a bit, a portly, short man, shaking and shivering in fear, crouched up near the far wall. Squalo and I turned to face him, and Squalo approached me from behind, standing beside me. He had a small splatter of blood of his cheek. He looked strangly cute with it there, his silver eyes dialated with boredom.

He showed no excitement in this mission. I glanced at him and questioned why he was never excited with murder missions... 'Maybe if I let him have this kill it might make him in a more good mood?...' I thought. Killing the Boss of a family we are pulling a seige on could make him happy. I hoped. Squalo glanced at me and noticed I was staring at him and one of his eye twitched in slight annoyance maybe?

"Last hit. All yours, Squalo." I offered, stepping back and taking out a black cloth and running it down both sides of my sword.

Squalo glanced at me. "VOI! What's with the kindness?!" He yelled.

"Just... I dont want to be mean to you, Squalo," I replied, looking sincear. "Not yet..." I added, slightly smiling.

Squalo grinned at me, slightly sharp, shark-like teeth showing. " Credit will go to you, though... Quid Pro Quo?..." Squalo offered back.

"If you want..." I mused, putting the cloth away and sheathing my sword.

Squalo turned towards the nervous, fat mafia boss and impaled him through his throat in one, short, smooth movement. As Squalo pulled his sword out to wait for the mafia boss to suffocate and or bleed to death, I walked over to the safe underneath the dark wooden, large desk. I slapped white tackey to the border of the door, and placed, neatly, 3 bombs on it, and twisted the fuses together. I lit the main fuse and stepped back towards Squalo.

"Get down!" I yelled at Squalo as me and him jumped to the side of the room and crouched down. A second later, the safe exploded, sending a piece of metal flying towards us. Luckely, it missed us and hit the wall, but when I uncovered my arms from my head and looked up, Squalo had half his body shielding me and one arm across my back and the other around the front of my waist. He looked up, looked at me, then behind him at the smoking desk which had split into a few nice chunks. The mafia boss was bleeding and limp lying against the wall.

Squalo recoiled his arms from me and stood up, brushing dust off of him. I did the same. He shoved his sword into it's sheath and unstrapped it from his hand, and walked over to the safe, taking out documents and some small trinkets and accessories that could be worth a bit, and gave me the papers. He pocketed the treasures, and went to a bookshelf across the room, looking for something, then finally picking a black records book off of the shelf and pocketing that too. I looked through the papers.

This family owned a lot for a small mafia, in money and property. I guessed it was previously owned by a deceased relative and was amused when I discovered that that was corret from a will and ownership papers. I placed them all in the folder they came in and strapped the leather strap onto the small folder, and went to the safe, picking out the wads of money and pocketing that too.

"Common, we're done here" Squalo said, actually in a normal tone.

"Wait, Squalo, We gotta burn it down. We're gonna, right?" I asked, turning to the shark.

"Yeah, gasoline's at the car, we'll leave these in the car and come back and torch it up." Squalo explained, still keeping his serious, non-yelling tone.

I was suprised, but rather happy he wasnt yelling. I swear my hearing ability had gone down since the few years I had been in the Varia. I followed him out, past all the dead bodies that littered the hallways, and rooms. I took out a small gun. One person was yet alive. He was slowly breathing while lying on the ground near at the foot of the main stairwell. I aimed and shot him effortlessly. A small spurt of blood from his head hit me in the face, and I smiled to myself. The blood hit a few centimeteres from the corner of my right eye, and it ran down my face, gently following the curve of my cheek. I continued to follow Squalo out the door to our dark dark green convertable car. It was the only car that wasn't damaged or destroyed and the only non demolished thing in the whole yard, or house. I stepped on broken glass as I trotted down the stairs of the family house to where our car was parked. I dropped the obects I collected and the files into a black backpack Squalo had open and was placing the objects into. He zipped it up and tucked it away under the drivers seat and looked up at me.

"You okay, Scarlett?" He asked, raising a silvery eyebrow as silver eyes stared at the blood on my face.

"Oh yeah, just blood from an ankle biter that was alive near the stairs is all." I explain, taking one of my gloved hands and wiping it with the leather glove.

Squalo walked around to the other side of the car and faced me. He took off one of his gloves and said: "VOI! You missed a spot!" and licked his thumb and trailed it down the side of my face, licking it again, and cleaning away the blood that I missed. He smiled, clearly satisfyed and walked over to the trunk of the car and popped it open with a little button on the set of keys. He flipped it open and took out one huge gas can after another. He had brought 8 gascans, and he handed one to me. It weight atleast 50 pounds and reeked, but the job needed to be done.

19 minutes later:

"Burn... burn it all down to the ground..." Squalo mumbled, leaning against the car. I looked up at him, his silver eyes gleamed with the excitment they lacked earlier. The scent of gasoline mingled with the sweet vanilla-cherry scent that radiated from his skin and clothing. He wore an evil grin, and the blood that was on his face earlier was darker. I pulled off one of my own gloves, licked my right index finger, and reached up and wiped the blood off of his face.

Squalo grabbed my arm and let go. I pulled my hand back, licked my finger again and reached to finish getting that last annoying smudge of blood from his cheek.

"VOI!!! What do you think you're doing?!" Squalo questioned, being loudmouthed as always again.

"Well, you had blood on your face too, so... quid pro quo, right?..." I asked mockingly. I pulled my leather glove back on and turned back towards the darkening flaming scene. The cars next to us were on fire, having exploded a bit before reducing to a small flaming pieces of metal.

Squalo didn't answer me, instead, he put an arm around my waist and pulled me to his side.

"We make a rather effective team..." Squalo said in a loud obnoxious voice. I looked up at him.

"Yes, yes we do, Squalo" I replied, taking my arm and wrapping it around his waist too.

This is just a small story I made up involving meh and Squalo cause I dont think we'd ever get along, so I thought of an instance where we would, and it turned out... Not too bad ^^! I am pretty proud of mehself ^^! Hope ye like, Comment plz!!!
I personally love this story, but, I am not a huge fan of the Varia Shark. I love the Varia and will tolerate him, but... I dont like da Varia shark too much. Not cause hes annoying, but because he is so... crude.

Ps: This is mine, I wrote this all, characters belong teh their respectful owners of course, but the storyline and everything, I made up. Dont use this story and present it as your own work either. kthnxsbai!!!!
